Silicone rubber type 3 is very well suited for the production of heat-resistant molds (short-term, at the time of casting, no permanent temperature resistance) for casting with low-melting metals. At the same time, the molds are elastic, hard-wearing and also suitable for forming undercuts. Silicone rubber type 3 can be used to produce single or multi-part molds and is suitable for casting original models made of wood, glass, metal, plastic, wax, ceramic casting compounds and much more. You can cast in the molds produced with all water-soluble casting materials such as relief casting compounds like Stewalin, Keraflott, plaster, Keramin, Alabit, modeling and model building plaster, casting clay, cement, concrete, etc. The silicone has not been tested for skin and mucous membrane compatibility or for use in conjunction with food.
